Qi Gong: For thousands of years, healers in China have used qigong to build their energy, strengthen their minds and even to heal others. Self-Healing for Bodyworkers is a self-care course designed to teach you crucial self-energizing and relaxation exercises that will help you to have the energy, presence and peace of mind that you need both on the job and at the end of a long workday. The exercises are easy to learn and simple enough that they can be used between clients.

Tuina: Chinese Massage and Bodywork
A precursor to acupuncture, traditional Chinese massage (Tuina) is a unique fusion of physical and energetic techniques with massive ability to help clients in their healing process. In this course, we will learn the most important strokes of Tuina as well as fundamental principles for developing your own protocols and style of practice. This course is particularly useful for anyone who does myofascial work or chair massage.

Acupressure Theory and Application
Acupressure is a well-known and particularly useful method of traditional Chinese massage. This course will teach you how to augment your current massage practice with easy to learn techniques for relieving pain, inflammation, and to help your clients relax their minds and bodies. This class is very practice-oriented, so wear lose-fitting clothing and be prepared to give and receive lots of bodywork.

Ear Reflexology
Widely used in China and Europe, ear reflexology is relatively unknown in the United States. This course presents you with the Chinese auricular microsystem, a reflexology system that is easy to use and to apply for a wide range of issues pertaining to pain, injury, inflammation and general relaxation. This course is practice-intensive. Since much of the focus is on integration of ear techniques with other practices, be sure to wear lose-fitting clothing and be prepared to give and receive bodywork.
